Historical Female Italian Clubs

Silvia Basile helps the little girl, Flavia Gianninoto, into the next move of the Spanish Waltz dance on the Gianicolo terrance in Rome on April 22, 2018.

The groups "Belle époque," an historical female Italian club and the "Academy of Victoria Dance," a dance school met for a day where instructor Vittorio Viscardi lead the two into a marathon of 1800's Victorian dances on the Gianicolo terrance in Rome on April 22, 2018.

All the women were asked to wear crinoline skits, made of bone hoops to hold and give the fabrics the shape of wide circumferences such as the ones at the time of the belle époque.
